WWE Releases SmackDown Star

"WWE has come to terms on a mutually agreed upon release with Simon Gotch as of today, April 5, 2017. WWE wishes Gotch the best in all his future endeavors."
Gotch signed a developmental contract with WWE in June of 2013. A year later he formed the tag team The Vaudevillains with Aiden English and won the NXT Tag Team Championship.

The Vaudevillains debuted on the main roster nearly a year ago on the April 7th episode of SmackDown. He was involved in a backstage fight with Sin Cara last July, which was said to be a "one-sided destruction" by Cara. Since then, he has not won a single match on television.

The Undertaker Undergoing Hip Replacement Surgery

WWE Legend, The Undertaker confirmed non-verbally that at WrestleMania 33 in his match vs. Roman Reigns was the last time we will get to see The Deadman compete in WWE. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Undertaker is getting the full hip replacement surgery now which will indefinitely end his wrestling career. Undertaker has needed this surgery for quite some time now and the reason he held off on it is because he knew that if the procedure happened, he could never wrestle again.

Roman Reigns Responds To Crowd Reaction On RAW

The fans voiced their opinions during the open segment of Monday’s episode of RAW when Roman Reigns walked out to the ring. Chants included “You Suck”, “Delete”, “A–hole”, “Roman Sucks” and “F–k You Roman.” Once the chants stopped, he then said that “this is my yard now.” This led to him walking out of the ring and to the backstage arena.

Reigns took to Twitter to react to the chants from fans. He posted this:

Brock Lesnar Not Defending The WWE Universal Championship At Payback?

New WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has been rumored to not be defending his title at the upcoming RAW exclusive PPV, Payback on April 30th. According to Cageside Seats, Lesnar is not advertised to appear on any shows leading to WWE Payback and will not be on the European tour which is scheduled for May.

Also, according to WrestlingINC, the possible main event for WWE Payback is Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman and the winner of that will likely be the #1 contender to Brock’s Universal title. WWE has been pushing Reigns forcefully. The defeat of The Undertaker at WrestleMania may only be the beginning until we ultimately see Roman Reigns as the new Universal Champion.

These are just rumors and nothing is official until there is a scheduled championship match announced for Payback or not announced for Payback. Also, the “Superstar Shake-Up” that is scheduled to take place next week could change many of plans.

After counting the lights at WrestleMania 33, Triple H is now the owner of a new WrestleMania
record; he has now lost more matches at The Show of Shows than any other performer in WWE history. In case you didn’t know...Despite his reputation in the internet wrestling community, Triple H has been rather generous at WrestleMania. Major Name To Debut On Smackdown Live

As Wrestlemania weekend draws to a close after an epic list of events, WWE are beginning to look to the future as soon as this week’s Raw and Smackdown.

Each year, the Raw after Wrestlemania is one of the most enjoyable and surprise-filled shows of the year, and this year looks to be no different. There is plenty of chatter about debuts, returns and the like on the red brand, but where does this leave Smackdown Live in the brand extension landscape of WWE?

Well, according to Cageside Seats, they are looking to turn this into just as big as the Raw show with the debut of Japanese sensation Shinsuke Nakamura. This will add to a highly talented Smackdown roster which already boasts the likes of John Cena, AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt at the top of the card.

Where do you see the King of Strong Style fitting in on the blue brand?

WWE Superstars Thank The Undertaker

The Undertaker apparently retired after his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday. After the match was over, Taker left his hat, coat and gloves in the middle of the ring under a spotlight. He then kissed wife Michelle McCool at ringside before making his exit. Taker's gear remained in the ring for more than 30 minutes after the show.

Taker made a similar tease in the past but it was believed by some that this match could be the last for the 52 year old. It's worth noting that just about every WWE Superstar took to Twitter to tweet thanks to The Deadman after WrestleMania. You can see some of their tweets below:
